Here in the emerald green jungles of the Chiapas, peace permeates the landscape and balance between Man and Earth lives in harmony. Our group felt a great desire to enter this particular cycle of time by saturating ourselves with peace. We joined together with this intent in the sacred sites of Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchillan. Here in the jungle you can almost forget the pressure and imbalances of the modern world. On December 17, our group travelled to the Mayan site of Bonampak. It was the first site we visited on our 9-day pilgrimage. It was quite apparent as we entered the site that something important was happening. The air was charged, and with a still ear you could hear the music of the spheres. In this site that was used to train initiates in star knowledge and self mastery, we stilled ourselves to hear its message. Bonampak is in the middle of a Lacandon Maya reserve, 2 hours drive from civilisation. Yet it was here in the middle of the beautiful Chiapas where we heard the of war. It was the last thing we expected to hear that morning. Even if we didn�t realise it in the moment, we were being taught 2 valuable lessons. Our group ranged in age from the early 20�s to75 and we had members from the USA, New Zealand and France. We were joined by a Lacandon Maya Elder who could feel the intent of our gathering and two young Lacandon boys. We were given permission and private space to do a ceremony. Already on this first day we felt like family and worked together as if we had been doing this for lifetimes. We built an alter and burned Copal and began a ceremony led by the spirit of the moment. The ceremony evolved into a strong prayer for peace. During the Ceremony we felt the invisible guardians gather around us. The focus for our pilgrimage was on the teachings of the master Jesus. These teaches were deepening and strengthening within us. Soon we found ourselves praying and sending love to US President Bill Clinton and Saddam Hussein. We began to realise that as long as we have hate or judgement for enemies in our consciousness, we will have war. If we truly believe in "In Lak�ech - Ala K�in", a Mayan saying that means, "I am you and you are me", Saddam Hussein and Clinton are us, and we are them. During this ceremony we began to realise the depth of the commitment to love our enemies. The fact is loving our enemies really works to our advantage. Each time we find within ourselves the capacity to love someone we formerly consider an enemy, we successfully remove one enemy from our mental list. One less enemy means one more step closer we are to being in complete harmony with humanity. Also this is an act of honoring ourselves and self love, as we lighten our load of negative energy. Quickly the second lesson was realised. We began to realise the depth and power of gathering together. We realised that 16 people could have the effect of 1600 if joined together in harmony and love with a common purpose. When also learned when prayer and ceremony is done in a sacred site where energy and intent is magnified, intention is greatly amplified and is sent around the world. So 16 people could have the same effect as 16,000. The master Jesus taught, "When two or more are gathered, I AM there. This means Christ Consciousness is present in the group. We were blessed to experience this not just as a concept in our minds, but realise it in our hearts as well. These events leading up to Winter Solstice made it clear to humanity where the separations are, and what needs to be healed. On December 21, the Winter Solstice, we travelled to Palenque, Mexico, a site known for holding the Hall of Records for the Earth and Cosmos and a site where Christ walked, taught, learned and healed. Again we waited to learn the message of this sacred place. This was no ordinary Winter Solstice, as it had profound solar and cosmic alignments. Winter Solstice aligned the center of the Sun with the center of the milkyway. Also on Winter Solstice, The Sun, the Temple of Inscriptions (resting place of the cosmic messenger Pacal Votan), the four-windowed 3-story tower, and the Hall of Records were in perfect alignment. At sunset on Winter Solstice, a perfect ray of sunlight made its way through all four windows of the tower to shine two markers of light inside the hall of records. This alignment activated the Hall of Records. This is the time and place where we made a Sacred Site Essence from the sacred Ceiba tree and waters of Queens Falls of old Palenque. During this special turning of time, humanity entered a 3-month period of time of great preparation for the coming New Year for Mother Earth, March 21,1999. Every cycle holds the energy and collective consciousness of humanity, and this cycle was no different. It began powerfully with the duality of light and dark, friend and foe, war and the great desire for peace. As it always has been and always will be, the outcome - our future, is up to us. It is time to realise our true potential as beings of love and compassion and to erase the consciousness of enemies from our reality once and for all. It is time to join together with peace and harmony and the desire to fully awaken, and KNOW we are more powerful working together than we could ever be apart. It is time for each and everyone of us to be truly who we are and walk in impeccability. Anything less than walking in truth will only delay the manifestation our dreams. On March 21, 1999, the fifth year for the global solar wave, we will enter a new year that will manifest our collective heart intentions. We will enter 10 Manik. It is the year to grasp and to manifest the vision of perfect healing transformation. What have we been working towards during the last 13 years will begin to enter our life with amazing speed. So these next precious months up until March 21 is the time to refine your heart�s intentions. Remember what Christ did, we can do also, and greater things. Know you will. Aluna Joy Yaxk'in . . .
